Three outcome-led prompts for multimodal generation, reference continuity, and conversational scene revision.

  • Rainy City Tracking Shot

Create a cinematic tracking shot of a cyclist crossing a rain-lit city intersection at blue hour. Keep wheel rotation, body balance, tram movement, reflections, and ambient sound physically coherent. Use a low moving camera and finish on a clean wide frame.

  • Consistent Traveler and Greyhound

Animate the reference image into a restrained travel-film moment. Preserve the adult woman's face, red coat, white greyhound, station architecture, and lighting. Add a slow forward dolly, subtle coat movement, natural blinking, and distant platform activity without changing identity.

  • Continuous Coastal Road Sequence

Extend the coastal road sequence from sunrise through midday into dusk. Keep the same vintage car, road geometry, ocean horizon, and camera path. Change only time, atmosphere, reflections, and headlight behavior, using smooth transitions and no cuts that break spatial continuity.

Key Features Expected from Omni 1.5

These are informed watch points based on Google's confirmed Gemini Omni 1.1 Flash capabilities, not announced Omni 1.5 specifications.

Text image audio and video inputs converging into one video workflow

Native Multimodal Inputs

Gemini Omni 1.1 Flash already works across text, images, audio, and video, so multimodal input is the clearest foundation for watching Omni 1.5. The important advance would be better reasoning across those inputs rather than simply accepting them. Creators should look for reliable interpretation of reference frames, spoken direction, timing cues, scene context, and written constraints inside one generation or editing request, with each source contributing visibly to the finished sequence.

Continuous coastal car sequence illustrating conversational video edits

Conversational Video Editing

The current Omni line supports continued video revision through natural-language instructions. For Omni 1.5, the meaningful test will be whether multiple edits remain localized and stateful: change a background, adjust an action, shift a lens, or refine timing while everything else stays stable. Stronger edit memory would make the model useful for iterative direction instead of forcing creators to regenerate an entire scene after each note or rebuild previously approved visual decisions.

Consistent traveler and greyhound reference-to-video concept

Reference and Identity Control

Google already presents image-to-video and reference-to-video as core Gemini Omni workflows. A future Omni 1.5 release would be judged on how well it protects a subject's face, clothing, proportions, product geometry, or environment while introducing motion. Consistency should survive camera movement, occlusion, lighting changes, and scene extension—not only a short clip in which the subject barely moves. Fine details should remain stable from the opening frame to the final beat.

Dynamic city sequence illustrating motion and camera continuity

Extension, Interpolation, and Camera Continuity

Omni 1.1 Flash publicly supports video extension, first-and-last-frame interpolation, and editing controls that can alter action, background, or camera direction. Omni 1.5 could become more valuable if those operations preserve geography and motion over longer sequences. Reviewers should check whether horizons, paths, props, lighting, and screen direction remain coherent when a shot grows or transitions between two defined endpoints, without sudden lens changes or unexplained object movement.

Benefits of an Omni 1.5 Multimodal Workflow

Multimodal creative direction concept

Direct a Shot with More Context

Combine a written brief with image references, source footage, or audio cues so the model receives the creative context that text alone cannot capture.

Video revision and extension concept

Revise Without Rebuilding the Scene

Ask for a focused change to movement, camera, subject, or background while preserving the approved parts of the sequence whenever the model can maintain state.

Reference continuity across video variations

Protect Continuity Across Variations

Carry recognizable subjects, products, locations, and visual rules through alternate shots or extended moments instead of treating each clip as an isolated generation.
