Motion Studio: Activate your idea

Activate your idea with Motion Studio, Dreamina’s upcoming AI motion graphics workspace. Turn a brief into animated text, charts, product explainers, and brand visuals, then shape the result through conversation. Explore the planned capabilities below; buttons currently open the Dreamina workspace while the feature rolls out.

Three ideas to put in motion

Copy a brief, then adapt the words, data, or product to your project when Motion Studio becomes available. These images are illustrative keyframes, not generated Motion Studio results. Buttons open the current Dreamina workspace.

  • A headline that earns attention

Create a 10-second kinetic typography animation in 16:9. Use the exact headline ACTIVATE YOUR IDEA. Assemble ACTIVATE letter by letter, reveal YOUR IDEA beneath it, and let mint and violet ribbons travel around the text on a dark background. Keep every letter readable, use smooth easing, and finish with a two-second hold. Do not add other wording.

  • A chart that tells one clear story

Create a 10-second animated column chart in 16:9 using illustrative data: Q1 = 20, Q2 = 35, Q3 = 50. Title it GROWTH, EXPLAINED and label the footer Illustrative data. Introduce the axes first, grow each column from the same baseline in sequence, and reveal its exact value. Use a cream background with blue, coral, and violet columns. Leave the finished chart readable at the end.

  • An explainer from concept to delivery

Create a 10-second isometric product explainer in 16:9. Show an original blue package progressing through three stages: a sketch, an assembled product, and a shipping box. Connect the stages with one mint path and animate one clear transition at a time. Use a pale blue and cream setting, restrained coral accents, and soft shadows. Keep the package shape consistent and finish on the packed product. No text is needed.

What you can create with Motion Studio

A workspace designed for motion graphics: readable information, deliberate movement, and revisions you can explain in words. The capabilities described here include the planned release scope.

Turn words, numbers, and brand ideas into deliberate motion

Start with the message you need to communicate: a product announcement, an animated chart, a logo reveal, or a short lesson. Motion Studio is designed to translate natural-language instructions into code-rendered animation, controlling text, shapes, layout, colors, and timing as parts of one composition. That makes it especially suited to kinetic typography, data storytelling, mathematical explanations, branded intros, UI demonstrations, and dynamic posters. Ask for a headline to arrive first, a value to count up next, and a final message to hold long enough to read. You direct the result without writing the animation code yourself. Review the finished text, data, and transitions before sharing. For a separate workflow that creates new cinematic scenes, explore Dreamina’s AI Video Generator.

Find a visual direction in the planned style library

Choose a recommended style or browse motion previews before starting. Each style is planned to show an example, input guidance, a preset prompt, reference information, ratio, duration, and an indicative credit cost. Selecting it carries the style and prompt into your brief; add your own reference files, since the example’s references are not copied. Your chosen ratio and duration take priority over preset defaults. The library is still being tested, with these creative directions under consideration: hand-drawn frame-by-frame animation, isometric 2.5D, flat vector, line art, 3D render, shape morphing, sticker explainers, cyberpunk HUD, collage, aurora and glassmorphism, geometric Bauhaus, 80s synthwave, pixel art, liquid motion, variety-show captions, kinetic typography, animated data charts, particles, UI motion promos, photo parallax reels, ASCII and terminal art, Chinese ink wash, Chinese shadow puppetry, Roman mosaic, pop art and halftone comics, mathematical explanation, stylized 3D cinematic motion, painterly 3D exploration, and psychedelic optical art. Final styles will depend on quality testing; this is a planned selection, not a promise that every preset is available today.

Bring your references, then refine the animation in chat

Use your own images, video, music, and supporting files to make the brief specific; available formats and upload limits will appear in the workspace. You can start from a preset without writing a prompt, or explain the exact content, brand colors, and movement you want. The initial workflow is designed around one style at a time, without requiring a separate skill picker or language-model selection. After the first result, continue the conversation: shorten a pause, change a heading, adjust a color, or make a transition gentler. Follow-up messages revise the current project, while a fresh task starts a different style or creative direction. Uploading music supplies a reference; it does not establish an automatic soundtrack or voiceover feature. Need a new visual reference first? Prepare an original image with Dreamina’s AI Image Generator.

Keep the task, progress, and finished assets together

Motion Studio is planned as a dedicated workspace with a sidebar entry, a style library, and a conversation for each creation task. Homepage shortcuts and a tools entry are also planned to make it easier to return. Follow readable creation stages and elapsed time, inspect the latest successful result, and keep revising within the same conversation. Clear failure messages and retry guidance are also part of the planned task flow. Finished files are designed to appear in both the chat and a dedicated Motion Studio area in Assets, where you can preview, download, favorite, inspect creation time, resolution, and aspect ratio, and reuse eligible assets as references or open them on Canvas. Session materials can include images, videos, and documents. Community showcases, remix discovery, and direct community publishing are planned for later, rather than being part of the initial release.

Make the message move, without losing the message

Choose the format that helps your audience understand: a short brand moment, a useful product explanation, or a visual story built around real information.

Illustrative kinetic typography keyframe with ACTIVATE YOUR IDEA and glass ribbons

Give campaigns a recognizable visual rhythm

Build a brief around your actual headline, brand palette, product imagery, and closing message. Animated type, logo moments, dynamic posters, and social promos can share a deliberate visual direction. Describe what should stay consistent and what should change, then review the composition instead of settling for movement that distracts from the offer.

Explain a product one action at a time

Turn a product journey or UI walkthrough into a sequence your audience can follow. Supply real screenshots or reference assets, identify the important action, and specify the order of reveals. Isometric explainers, photo parallax, and interface motion are planned creative directions for showing how something works while keeping the focus on the product.

Illustrative animated-chart keyframe showing sample values 20, 35 and 50

Make data and teaching easier to follow

Introduce a chart, formula, or process gradually rather than asking viewers to read everything at once. Provide the exact values and labels, then describe the reveal order and pauses. Code-rendered motion is designed for these structured visuals; check the source information and final output so the animation supports the explanation you intend to give.

How to create with Motion Studio

Choose a style and frame your idea

Open Motion Studio from Dreamina when it appears in your account. Preview a recommended style and read its input guidance. Choose one style, then set the available duration and aspect ratio for your project.

Compare Dreamina plans and credits

These are Dreamina’s current plans, not a separate fixed price for Motion Studio. The initial feature plan is member access, with any trial eligibility determined by the rollout. Motion Studio is designed to show an estimate and charge for actual processing usage; style, duration, complexity, and revisions can change the cost.

What users say about Dreamina’s Motion Studio — illustrative briefs

Vera Drew

Illustrative creator brief: I want my launch headline to arrive word by word, with a deliberate pause before the offer. The copy and brand colors need to stay consistent. A useful revision would change just the pacing, so I can focus on whether the message is easy to read.

Emily R. •March 3
Alice

Illustrative creator brief: My quarterly update has three numbers that matter. I want each column to grow from the same baseline, reveal its exact value, and leave the finished chart on screen. The goal is a clear explanation that my audience can follow without pausing the video.

Jason T.•May 7
Bob

Illustrative creator brief: I already have real product screenshots. I want to show one workflow, guiding the viewer from the first click to the result with a short label at each stage. If a reveal moves too quickly, I want to describe that change in the same conversation.

Sophia L •May 9
Cathy

Illustrative creator brief: For a small product launch, I want the same blue package to move from a sketch to a finished item and then into its box. An isometric style would make the sequence feel connected. The animation should explain the process without adding claims or extra product features.

Illustrative creator brief: I want a short lesson that introduces one idea at a time. A diagram should appear first, then the relevant labels, then the next relationship. Keeping the words and values readable matters more to me than adding a transition to every element.

Mia C. •May 14
Emma

Illustrative creator brief: My campaign already has a logo, palette, and approved wording. I want motion that respects those decisions and leaves enough time for the final message. Comparing a preview and requesting a smaller color or timing change would help me judge the work against the brief.

Ryan P •May 17
David

Illustrative creator brief: I want to turn my own product photos into a paced visual story, using subtle parallax and a few clear reveals. I need the main subject to stay visible in the selected frame. I would review the first result before asking for a stronger camera move.

Olivia N. • May 29
Emma

Illustrative creator brief: I want an ink-wash animation with generous empty space, a single flowing movement, and one short closing line. A style preview would help me decide whether that direction fits before I submit my task. I would keep the project in one conversation for the later refinements.

Motion Studio FAQs

What is Dreamina Motion Studio, and how is it different from an AI video generator?

Motion Studio is Dreamina’s upcoming workspace for creating motion graphics from natural-language briefs and style presets. It is designed to render animation through code, making text, charts, shapes, layouts, and timing central to the workflow; you do not need to write that code yourself. It is a different creative route from generating new cinematic scenes or character movement with an image or video model. For those workflows, explore Dreamina’s AI Image Generator and AI Video Generator. Motion Studio is a Dreamina web workspace, not a claim of compatibility with a similarly named desktop app or an After Effects plugin.

What duration, aspect ratios, resolution, and export options are planned?

The planned controls include duration and Auto, 16:9, 9:16, 1:1, and 4:3 aspect ratios, with 1080p as the initial output setting and no separate resolution picker in the first release. Both short pieces and longer explanations are contemplated, but the exact duration range and default are still being finalized; use the settings shown in your account. A style’s preview may show only a short excerpt of up to 10 seconds, rather than the full possible output length. Downloading completed videos is planned. Available file formats will be shown in the workspace; transparent export, 4K output, editable source projects, and external editing integrations have not been confirmed.

Can I try Motion Studio for free, and when can I access it?

Dreamina offers free trial credits, but Motion Studio access and trial eligibility depend on its rollout and the terms displayed in your account. The initial commercial plan is member access; a temporary nonmember trial is being considered rather than promised. Having general Dreamina credits does not automatically confirm access to this feature. This page includes planned capabilities so you can understand the full direction before everything is available. For now, its buttons open the current Dreamina workspace; look for Motion Studio as it becomes available.

How will credits, cancellation, and interrupted tasks work?

Motion Studio is designed to show an estimated credit cost before creation and record actual usage for generation and subsequent turns. Duration, style, task complexity, and revisions can affect that usage, so a preset’s reference cost is not a fixed quote. The first generation may take longer; there is no guaranteed completion time. If credits run out, the planned workflow pauses at the current stage, preserves the conversation, and resumes from that stage after a top-up. If you cancel a running task, processing already used is still chargeable. Confirm the final billing terms and displayed estimate before submitting.

Can I edit an animation, start another style, or publish it to the community?

Conversational revision is the planned way to edit an existing Motion Studio project. Ask for specific changes in the same conversation; follow-up messages revise that work rather than opening a new generation with different settings. Start a new task from Studio home to choose another style or creative direction, since switching styles or models inside an ongoing conversation is not part of the initial workflow. Download, favorite, and reference-related asset actions are planned, while a separate asset-level regenerate or re-edit shortcut is not included in the first release. Community discovery, remixing, and direct community publishing are planned for later. Downloading a file does not itself establish rights to third-party images, music, logos, or other supplied material.
