Can Dreamina turn text into a video with sound?
Yes. Supported Dreamina Seedance workflows generate video with native audio, including spoken dialogue, environmental sound and other audio cues. Seedance 2.0 supports native audio, and Seedance 2.5 supports broader video-and-audio workflows and reference control.
Use the text-to-video generator, choose a supported model, and describe both the scene and what should be heard. Audio capabilities vary across models and modes; choosing a video tool alone does not ensure the selected workflow will produce the sound you need.
Can I try text-to-video with audio for free?
Dreamina's text-to-video page currently states that free users receive 120 daily credits for image and video generation. That is a credit allowance, not a fixed number of videos or guaranteed access to every audio configuration.
Check the model, duration, mode and displayed cost before generating. Start with a short scene to evaluate the voice and timing before committing to a longer version. A newly requested generation can consume credits; do not assume retries are free.
What should an audio prompt include?
Specify the speaker, exact line, delivery, environmental sound and music separately. For example:
A barista stands behind a quiet café counter and sets a cup down. Medium shot, soft morning light, steady camera. The barista looks toward the customer and says, “Your coffee is ready,” in a calm, friendly voice. Include a gentle cup-on-saucer sound and quiet café room tone. No background music and no other speech.
This is a suggested prompt, not a tested sample. Begin with one speaker and a short line when checking dialogue. A crowded scene with overlapping voices, loud music and several actions makes it harder to diagnose what failed.
Why did my video come out silent?
First check whether playback is muted and whether the downloaded file is also silent. Then check the selected model and mode's audio support. If the workflow supports native audio, make the intended sound explicit in the prompt before trying again.
Silence by itself does not tell you whether the cause is playback, a workflow setting or a generation result. Avoid spending credits repeatedly before separating those possibilities.
If the picture already works, consider finishing the audio in an editing workflow instead of regenerating useful footage. Dreamina also has a sound-effects-for-video workflow for exploring sound effects; check how it fits the output and editing steps your project needs.
How do I improve unclear or incorrect dialogue?
For reference-led voice direction, see Seedance 2.5 Voice Reference. Use recordings you have the right to use. A reference guides voice characteristics; it is not a guarantee of identical delivery across every output.
Will the sound stay synchronized, and do I still need editing?
Native-audio models are designed to create sound in relation to the visual scene. Review mouth movement, spoken words and action sounds in the actual result; perfect synchronization should not be assumed.
Post-production remains useful for exact dialogue, music timing, captions and the final mix. Keep a strong visual take when its remaining problem can be addressed there. Start with Dreamina's text-to-video generator, make one clear scene, and evaluate picture and sound separately before expanding it.
