The models combine top-tier content quality with innovative editing capabilities, and make go-to features for Dreamina more practical, intuitive and inspiring for creators of all kinds.
Like our other AI experiences, they are supported by safeguards and transparency measures designed to prevent misuse and support responsible creation.
Dreamina Seedance 2.5
Dreamina Seedance 2.5 is ByteDance's new video and audio model for products like Dreamina. It builds on the industry-leading generation quality that made Dreamina Seedance 2.0 a go-to tool for creators by adding new innovations to empower more intuitive, ambitious, and efficient creative workflows:
- Creators can now generate clips up to 30 seconds long, making it easier to tell seamless stories with smoother transitions and stronger character consistency.
- The model can take up to 50 multimodal references for a single clip, including images, video, audio, and text. That gives creators and businesses more control when bringing a specific product, story, or visual direction to life.
- It also introduces new interactive and granular editing capabilities. For example, using Dreamina tool, creators can now edit specific timestamps, characters or other elements within a video, making it easier to shape, refine, and iterate in detail.
Dreamina Seedance 2.5 will start rolling out in the coming week for subscriber accounts belonging to people over 16 years old across Europe, Asia, the Middle East and South America.
Dola Seedream 5.0 Pro
Dola Seedream 5.0 Pro is an advanced image generation model that combines top-tier reasoning and generation capabilities with several key improvements that will further enhance usefulness:
- The model introduces new interactive editing capabilities, allowing creators in supported features to edit content by drawing an arrow, circling a region, or separating elements into draggable, scalable layers.
- It is also stronger at text rendering and translation, with improved ability to generate materials such as charts, diagrams, and presentation pages in more than 10 languages, including English, Spanish, Arabic, and Japanese.
Dola Seedream 5.0 Pro is available now for paying Dreamina subscribers in Europe, Asia, the Middle East, South America and the United States.
Pairing powerful creation with responsible innovation
Like other Dreamina experiences, these models come with guardrails that are designed to prevent harm, protect intellectual property, and enable transparency, including:
- AI transparency measures including invisible watermarks, C2PA Content Credentials and visible AI labels that help others know when content was AI-generated.
- Firm policies against harmful content, including hate, nudity, non-consensual sexual content, the unauthorized use of likeness, and harmful misinformation. These are enforced proactively through prompt blocking, content moderation, and user reporting mechanisms.
- Technologies designed to block the unauthorized generation of intellectual property, bolstered through proactive monitoring, in-app reporting, and direct collaboration with rightsholders.
These safeguards are informed by expert guidance, industry best practices, and feedback from our community, and have gone through extensive stress-testing as we aim to enable artistic expression, while mitigating safety risks. Like others in our industry, we know that new technologies can bring novel challenges, and will continue to refine our safeguards over time.

These new models are informed by feedback from creative communities and optimized to make our editing and creation tools both powerful and practical. That includes Dreamina creators like Portuguese filmmaker and creative director of Pistachio Studios, Cláudio Sá, whose AI-created film The Nose, was recognized at the Dreamina AI International Animation Summit at the Annecy International Animation Film Festival.
